
Man Booker winners picked as 2009 highlights

New titles from Booker Prize winners Martin Amis, Margaret Atwood and Kazuo Ishiguro have all been selected by The Times as highlights for 2009.
Ishiguro has written a collection of stories about music, Nocturnes, to be published in May, and new novels are expected from Amis (The Pregnant Widow) and Atwood (God's Gardeners) in September.
Sarah Waters, who was twice shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2002 and 2006, has a new novel out in June called The Little Strangers.
Anthony Quinn, who judged the Man Booker Prize in 2006, has his debut novel, The Rescue Man, published this month.
