New edition of Life of Pi available to readers

Canongate publishers has released a new edition of the bestselling novel Life of Pi by Yann Martel, which won the the Man Booker Prize in 2002. The new Life of Pi edition is already climbing the book charts following promotions with booksellers and an advertising campaign.

Canongate is also promoting the novel online and to reading groups. In August 2009, Canongate plans a ‘worldwide readalong' for Life of Pi, promoted through a relaunched website. The publisher is working with the British Council, the Man Booker team, reading groups, book websites, and with libraries throughout the UK.

Readers of the Man Booker Prize website have been given the chance to win one of five free copies of Canongate's new edition of Life of Pi by Yann Martel.
