BBC Today programme interviews shortlisted authors
2009 shortlisted authors featured in lead up to winner announcement

In the run up to the winner announcement of the Man Booker Prize, the BBC's Today programme is previewing all six shortlisted novels with interviews and readings in the coming week.
Rebecca Jones, BBC Arts Correspondent will be interviewing five of the six shortlisted authors starting with Hilary Mantel today (28 September 2009). On Friday 2 October listeners can hear J M Coetzee reading from his novel Summertime.
The previews are available at Listen Again online where you can also read extracts from the six shortlisted titles.
The winner is announced on 6 October 2009.
