The Man Booker Prize longlist will be announced today (27 July 2010).
The 2010 judging panel is chaired by Sir Andrew Motion, former Poet Laureate.
He is joined by Rosie Blau, Literary Editor of the Financial Times; Deborah Bull, formerly a dancer, now Creative Director of the Royal Opera House as well as a writer and broadcaster; Tom Sutcliffe, journalist, broadcaster and author and Frances Wilson, biographer and critic.
The longlist of 12 or 13 books, known as the Man Booker Dozen, will be announced later on today.
The announcement will be made here on the Man Booker Prize website and also on twitter at @ManBookerPrize.
