It is protected by copyright, trade marks, service marks, patents or other proprietary rights and laws. The Man Booker Prize logos are a registered trademark. If you wish to reproduce the any Man Booker Prize logo please ask for permission first from info@fourcolmangetty.com, and all rights are reserved to refuse or impose conditions on such use (see section “Enquiries and requests for licences and/or permissions” below).

Privacy Statement

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; therefore any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use appropriate procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access to it.
 
The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to have access to any information held about you by the Booker Prize Foundation. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any request for such access should be made to may be subject to a fee (presently up to £10, although this may increase at our discretion) to meet our costs in providing you with the information that we hold about you. If you believe that any of the information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, then please let us know at info@fourcolmangetty.com.
 
Any information you supply to us via the Man Booker website will be retained only for the purpose it was collected, or such other purposes for which you gave permission at the time of its collection, and will only be kept for the appropriate period for that purpose/those purposes after which it will be removed from our records. Any data retained for statistical analysis will be randomised and cannot be attributed to any identifiable individual. We will not transfer, disclose, sell, distribute or lease the personal information you provide to us to any third party except as required by law.

Website Usage Data

Our website keeps track of usage data such as the source address of a page request (i.e. your IP address and domain name), the date and time of the page request, the referring website (if any) and other parameters in the URL (e.g. search criteria). We use this data to better understand the use of our website by visitors and to identify user preferences.
