Molly Keane
Molly Keane was born in July 1904 in Ballyrankin, Ireland. She wrote her first book, The Knight of Cheerful Countenance, at the age of seventeen under the pseudonym M J Farrell and published ten other books under this pen name, including The Rising Tide, Two Days in Aragon and Loving Without Tears. Her novel, Good Behaviour, was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and was televised in 1983. She died in April, 1996.
