Julian Barnes wins for The Sense Of An Ending

The Man Booker Prize for Fiction 2011 was won by Julian Barnes for The Sense Of An Ending, published by Jonathon Cape.

The winner was announced on Tuesday 18 October at a dinner at London's Guildhall and was broadcast by the BBC just before 10pm across television, radio and online. The other shortlisted books were:-
